Chardonnay Piedmont DOC
Chardonnay grapes are grown on predominantly clay soil. The vine has medium-sized rounded leaves, as does the cluster, which tends to be yellow. The harvest generally takes place in the first ten days of September.
The grapes are pressed, and to allow the skins and must to come into contact, it is left to rest for 12 hours before the actual fermentation. The remaining processing steps until bottling will take place in steel tanks.
This results in an elegant wine with an intense, harmonious, and fruity aroma and a brilliant straw-yellow color.
Excellent as an aperitif, it also pairs well with appetizers and fish dishes, white meats, or cheeses.
The ideal serving temperature should be around 8 to 10 °C.
